Our trading company, Ferrum Consilium, has been operating in Dubai since 2013, specializing in the trading of engineering products. Recently, we launched a manufacturing division called Ferrum Industries. We will use these machines to produce plastic injection molds for the packaging industry. As you know, high-engineered components manufacturing is rare in the UAE. Additionally, we are undertaking high-precision machining jobs for packaging industries.
Ferrum Industries was established in November 2023, focusing primarily on the manufacturing sector. Our previous company, Ferrum Consilium Trading LLC, was founded in 2013 but will be closing soon due to its general trading license. During that time, we manufactured in India and supplied products to the UAE. Details of our Indian operations are included in the group profile attachment. The Indian company was acquired by one of our customers, Kaynes Technologies, and has since been renamed Kaynes Mechatronics. We have fully exited that unit and initiated a new manufacturing facility in the UAE.
Our turnover last year was approximately 0.6 million USD, with 9 employees. For 2024, we plan to achieve a turnover of 1 million USD and expand our workforce to around 26 employees by the end of the year.
